Rainfall is expected to continue over most parts of the country in the next five days. Report shared by Kenya Meteorological Department indicates that heavy rainfall is expected over several places of Western Kenya, South Eastern Lowlands, Lake Victoria basin, Central Highlands including Nairobi, Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Tharaka Nithi and Meru counties. Occasional morning showers as well afternoon and night showers are expected over several places. Members of the public urged to stay on the lookout for potential floods especially those living in those areas prone to floods.

The Highlands West of Rift Valley, Lake Victoria basin and Rift Valley especially Kisii, Nyamira, Kericho,Bomet, Kakamega, Bungoma, Siaya, Kisumu, Homabay and Migori Counties are expected to receive heavy rains over few places occasionally spreading to several other places. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected over several places. Night showers are likely to occur over few places.

Highlands East of Rift Valley including Nairobi are predicted to experience morning showers over few places. Afternoon showers are expected over several places during the first half of forecast period.

Northeastern parts of the country especially Garissa, Isiolo, Marsabit and Mandera counties are expected to receive sunny intervals during the days. Afternoon showers are expected over few places. Night showers are expected over few places. Maximum temperatures will rise while minimum temperatures are expected to drop.
