At a heated session of Bunge la Mwananchi, a fearless young Kenyan from Generation Z took the stage to condemn the government following a damning BBC documentary exposing alleged state failures and human rights abuses. Her bold speech resonated deeply with the crowd, drawing thunderous applause as she accused the government of betraying its citizens.

“The very institution meant to protect us has become the greatest violator of our rights,” she declared, calling out Parliament for its hypocrisy. Her words reflected the mounting frustration among Kenyan youth over state-sponsored brutality and systemic corruption.

With unshakable conviction, she reminded the government that the Gen Z movement remains a formidable force. “They can kill individuals, but they will never kill our spirit,” she asserted. “This movement is growing stronger every day.”

She urged citizens to reclaim their power through democratic means, emphasizing voter registration as a tool for change. “If your MP has failed you, we have a legal process to remove them. Let’s register, vote, and elect leaders who truly represent us,” she said.

In a powerful closing statement, she issued a stern warning to corrupt leaders, including former Interior CS Fred Matiang’i: “We are coming for you. Your time is up—prepare to go home.”

Her speech highlights a seismic shift in Kenyan politics, with the youth demanding accountability, justice, and a government that serves the people.
