Wanja Nyarari has sparked widespread speculation, that she may be dating renowned actor Kenneth Ambani following his recent appointment in Mombasa County.
The rumours began after Nyarari publicly congratulated Ambani in a manner that many Kenyans interpreted as romantic, shortly after Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir announced his new role in the county’s creative sector.
Ambani was appointed to help steer Mombasa’s creative industry, with Governor Nassir praising his experience and leadership.

“His wealth of knowledge and first-hand experience in the sector will be instrumental as we work to revive and grow the creative industry in Mombasa for the benefit of our artists, youth and the wider economy,” Nassir wrote.
Soon after the announcement, Nyarari took to social media to celebrate Ambani’s achievement, sharing several cosy photos of the two together.
She also posted a video clip of them dancing and appearing comfortable in each other’s company, further fuelling dating rumours.
What caught the attention of many was her congratulatory message, in which she referred to Ambani as “darling,” a term that ignited speculation about the nature of their relationship.
“Congratulations, darling, on your appointment. A talented actor himself and among the longest-serving creatives with global award recognition, Kenneth Ambani brings firsthand experience to leadership,” Nyarari wrote.
