A Kenyan man has reached out for public assistance in identifying and apprehending a group of individuals allegedly involved in the theft of equipment from a studio.

The man shared his appeal on social media, attaching videos and images that show the sequence of events leading to the crime, including clear photos of the suspects’ faces.

The footage shows the three suspects surveilling the premises, appearing to watch if any other building occupants were around. From the ground floor, the trio can be seen making their way into the building.

The two women in the group entered the studio, packed their bags with cameras and other equipment, while the third suspect, a man, stood watch on the stairs.

Further investigation revealed that the same group had previously stolen from another studio in Nkubu, Meru. In his plea, the man urged the public to share the information widely and assist in identifying the culprits.

He also requested any information that could help apprehend the suspects, expressing gratitude in advance for any help offered.

Sources indicate that one of the men captured in the footage has been involved in similar criminal activities in various towns. Victims of these thefts have raised concerns about the lack of action from authorities, despite filing reports with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
