The Oscar winner went viral over the weekend for her portrayal of Michelle Obama in the Showtime anthology series, which premiered on April 17.
The show follows three first ladies having parallel experiences during their tenure in the White House with their spouse.
Viola has bene told she took things too far with Michele’s facial expressions and lips movement.

The other two first ladies are Eleanor Roosevelt, played by Gillian Anderson, and Betty Ford, played by Michelle Pfeiffer.
The show’s first season focuses on the personal and political lives of Obama, Ford, and Roosevelt, tracing “their journeys to Washington through an enlightening intimacy,” according to Showtime.
Besides Davis as Mrs. Obama, the anthology drama series stars Michelle Pfeiffer as Betty Ford and Emmy winner Gillian Anderson as Eleanor Roosevelt. The First Lady also stars Kiefer Sutherland as President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Aaron Eckhart as President Gerald Ford, Dakota Fanning as Susan Elizabeth Ford, Regina Taylor as Mrs. Obama’s mother Marian Shields Robinson, Lily Rabe as Lorena “Hick” Hickok, Jayme Lawson as young Michelle Obama and O-T Fagbenle as President Barack Obama.
