A video has emerged showing the dramatic moment passengers panicked after a man became aggressive inside a plane. The footage comes after a man was reportedly found dead on a Kenya Airways flight from Nairobi to Lagos.
According to reports, the male passenger made several attempts to open the exit door while the plane was in the air. Some Nigerians who were on board the flight shared videos of the scene. The clips show frightened passengers screaming and moving away as the man tried to reach the door.
In the videos, several strong men can be seen holding the man down to stop him. They struggled with him for some time to keep him away from the exit door. Passengers were visibly shaken, and many feared for their safety as the incident unfolded thousands of feet above the ground.
One passenger on the flight said the man was already very aggressive before boarding. According to the passenger, he should not have been allowed to enter the plane in the first place. The passenger did not say whether airline staff noticed his behavior at the airport.
It is still unclear what caused the man’s death. It is also not known why he kept trying to leave the plane in mid-air. No official reason has been given so far, and it is not clear whether he was ill, afraid, or under the influence of something.
Kenya Airways has not yet shared full details of what happened on board. Many people on social media have asked how the man was cleared to fly if he was truly behaving aggressively before boarding. Others have praised the passengers who stepped in to keep everyone safe.
