Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has strongly responded to her ex-partner and baby daddy, singer Brown Mauzo, after he hinted that one of his baby mamas calls him at 1 a.m.

Mauzo, who has four baby mamas, recently shared on social media that such late-night calls should only be for emergencies.

Although he didn’t name anyone, fans quickly assumed he was talking about Vera, who is the mother of his two children, Asia Brown and Prince Ice Brown.

Vera was not happy with the speculation. In a passionate response, she made it clear that she would never call anyone at that hour, especially while drunk.

“Me, call at 1 a.m.? Even in a relationship, I wouldn’t call my boyfriend at that hour. Drunk-calling? Impossible. I don’t drink, I don’t act out, I’m responsible, mature, and smart,” she said.

She also criticized bloggers for involving her in the drama without proof. “Why would anyone think he was referring to me? This guy is called Father Abraham for a reason.

He has other kids. Why assume every story about his baby mamas is about me?” Vera asked, clearly frustrated. She warned Mauzo to stop using her name to get attention.

“Keep my name out of your mouth. I don’t need anything from you. Don’t chase clout with me, I’ve got receipts,” she added, suggesting she has evidence to back up her claims.

This is not the first time Vera has publicly disagreed with Mauzo. Last year, she denied dating him just for “good genes,” saying, “If it’s good genes, even the sperm bank has it—you can even choose your baby’s eye colour.”

The back-and-forth between Vera and Mauzo has caught the attention of many Kenyans.

While some support Vera for standing up for herself, others are curious about the truth behind Mauzo’s claims.
