Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura’s wife, Nelius Mukami, has talked candidly about her past and disclosed that her stunning appearance hasn’t always benefited her. Unbeknownst to many, the single mother has also had multiple experiences with the negative aspects of gorgeous privilege, which she believes has been very regrettable.
This information was given by Nelius Mukami in a lengthy Facebook post in which she gave some instances of the drawbacks of having a gorgeous face. The single mother revealed that although being attractive typically makes things easier, there are always conditions attached.
Nelius Mukami also acknowledged that she occasionally finds it hard to tell if someone genuinely loves her because guys will fall in love with someone who is attractive based solely on appearances and never desire to get to know her better. To make matters worse, these men can occasionally turn out to be narcissists and cause harm to the woman.
Nelius Mukami also disclosed how having good looks can sometimes work against you because people would always think poorly of a lovely woman. Even if the woman is properly prepared for the position, they will presume that she may have slept with the boss to obtain the position.
Nelius Mukami was relieved to know she is not alone despite the fact that she has been fighting her fights in silence. This is particularly true after she thought that there are other attractive girls who go through the same thing as her after watching a show that discussed the negative aspects of having gorgeous privilege.
“…the reality? Being beautiful doesn’t make you pain-free. There are instances when it invites a particular type of misery. One that is encased in silent judgment, anticipation, and projection. It’s lonely at times. It is occasionally misinterpreted.
And truthfully? Sometimes you’re just exhausted. But I was reminded last night that I’m not alone. Many of us are silently bearing this burden.Nelius Mukami remarked, “And perhaps, just perhaps, it’s time we start speaking out loud without shame or apology.” A screenshot of her post can be found here.
