Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga on Saturday, 15th October 2022, attended a funeral in Nyamira village in Bondo, Siaya County.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader was accompanied by a number of leaders allied to him including Siaya County Governor James Orengo and his wife Mama Ida Odinga.
Governor Orengo has spoken after accompanying Raila to the funeral in Bondo on Saturday.
Taking to his timeline on Twitter, Orengo has sent out his condolences to John Andiwo Mwai following the burial of his mother, Mama Hellen, which they attended.
He has remembered the deceased as a kind and contegious mother whose memory will love forever.
“My friend John Andiwo Mwai; receive my deepest condolences during this difficult time. Your mother Mama Hellen was an amazing woman and she will truly be missed. Your mother’s kindness was contagious and her memory will live on forever. Pole sana,” Governor James Orengo said.
