Uhuru’s Name Mentioned as KQ Plane Heading to Dubai Turns Back to JKIA Following a Tyre Debris

Uhuru’s name has been mentioned by a section of Kenyans who have expressed their views following an incident that happened yester night involving a KQ Plane.

According to reports from credible sources a KQ 310 plane headed to Dubai was forced to turn back to JKIA after it lost a tyre on the runway.

Kenya Airways issued a statement apologizing to travellers for the incident and explained that JKIA Air Traffic control had encountered the tyre debris during a regular runway inspection. The KQ Operations Control thus contacted the crew of KQ 310 and agreed on a precautionary air turn back to Nairobi.

This incident has elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans, considering that JKIA has been a subject of public discourse due to some embarassing cases that a number feel shouldn’t happen at an Airport of JKIA’s stature.

A section of Kenyans who reacted mentioned the name of Uhuru with some jokingly foreseeing authorities responsible blaming Uhuru Kenyatta and his former regime of causing the tyre debris.

@Amos says “Just the other day they said all is well.. Riggy G atasema Uhuru regime ndio walinunua. Murkomen shouldn’t be blamed. Insane!”

@Barnes: “They will blame Uhuru.” Below are more reactions from Kenyans:
