The government has revised security protocols for anyone accessing the Kenyatta International Convention Centre for the ongoing Africa Climate Summit.In a statement, the Principal Secretary of State Department of Interior Security and National Administration Raymond Omollo said the decision comes after a routine review of the security arrangements.
All local and foreign Cabinet Secretaries were advised to access the venue through the entrance along Harambee Avenue.
The rest of the delegates, apart from those accredited to enter the first ballroom were directed to access the venue via the entrance along Parliament Road.
But what has caught the attention of Kenyans is however the photo of Azimio leader seating all alone in an empty hall after delegates left, according to some, they claim Raila jumped the protocal, the former prime minister was spotted on call.
Ealier, the former Prime Minister acknowledged meeting with various world leaders such as John Kerry who serves as President Joe Biden’s special envoy to Climate Change in Africa. But Kenyans were quick to question why the former Premier didn’t acknowledge Gachagua’s presence in the meeting.
