Former NBA player Tristan Thompson has opened up about a major decision in his personal life, revealing that an ultimatum from his ex-partner Khloé Kardashian pushed him to undergo a vasectomy, meaning he can no longer naturally have more children. The revelation surprised many fans because of the pair’s difficult history, which included repeated cheating scandals that damaged their relationship.
Speaking on Khloe’s podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, Tristan admitted that despite being stubborn at times, Khloe’s tough stance helped him make what he now sees as the right decision. He joked that he sometimes needed to be “forced into the right choice” and admitted that Khloe played a major role in convincing him to stop having more children. According to Khloe, she gave him “a little ultimatum,” which eventually led to the procedure.
The former couple shares two children, daughter True and son Tatum. Tristan also has children from previous relationships, making him a father of four with three different women. During the conversation, he openly said he already had “enough baby moms” and did not want to add more to the list. He explained that if he ever had more children, they would only come from embryos he previously created with Khloe.

Even though Tristan has had a vasectomy, reports say sperm was preserved before the procedure, meaning there is still a chance for future children through medical methods if he ever changes his mind. Khloe reportedly also has legal control of the embryos they created together. However, Tristan made it clear that he is not interested in reversing the procedure and feels his family is already complete.
