Majority leader in the national assembly Kimani Ichungwa has disclosed that the national Treasury has this morning disbursed funds to NG- CDF managed by members of parliament.
Speaking today in the Parliament, legislator Kimani Ichungwa revealed that the national Treasury has released six billion for this month of February to the CDF kitty.
” The national Treasury has this morning disbursed funds to the NG- CDF board for forward transmittal to the various Constituencies” reported majority leader Kimani Ichungwa.
Legislator Ichungwa added that the fund plays a critical role in developing Constituencies from bursaries allocation to classrooms construction.
” NG- CDF continues to play a critical role in developing our Constituencies. From bursaries to classrooms, NG- CDF has transformed education in the country as an enabler of the disenfranchised to attend schools in a conducive environment” added MP Ichungwa.
Members of Parliament have been pushing for the disbursement of the fund by national Treasury.
