Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua spoke candidly after witnessing his sister’s funeral, at which President Ruto was noticeably absent. According to the DP, Jesus Christ teaches us that death is not the end but rather the beginning of eternal life for everyone who believes in resurrection, citing John 11:25–26.
To honor his eldest sister Leah Wangari Muriuki, the Gachagua Family, the Peterson Gatata Family, and the residents of Mirera Village in Nanyuki, Laikipia County, came together.
