Latest admission from a military officer has revealed some of the problems that the military department is facing.
As reported by Wednesday’s Standard publication, a top military officer has revealed why larger aircrafts have been moved to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Speaking, the officer noted that Military is facing challenges in Eastleigh, Moi Air Base due to tall buildings which are coming up and therefore had to move the aircrafts to JKIA.
” We are facing challenges in Eastleigh because of tall buildings which are coming up. We had to move larger aircrafts like Spartan and presidential jet to JKIA”, the official said.
This comes as KDF is reportedly facing a shortage of helicopters with majority operating without proper maintenance.
