Top Kenyan tiktoker Ajib Gathoni was recently nominated for the pulse influencer award and came out as the best dance influencer of the year 2022. Among Other nominees was the famous Kenyan dancer, David Moya who is known for surprise dances and spreading love. In an interview with Warbbit Show, the dancer confirmed having worked with coca-cola and she was one of the brand ambassador. She also stated that the pay was good although did not mention the exact amount but instead said she was paid Ksh500,000-600,000.
Coca-cola is one of the biggest brand and most upcoming celebrities can surely testify that it is not easy being their brand ambassador. Ajib Gathoni explained that people have to invest in themselves first before someone else or a company does. It was a three months campaign and indeed the young influencer earned well.
Tiktok is among the fastest growing social media platforms that have provided opportunities for the young and talented individuals. Among other young Kenyans who have grown to fame through tiktok and are making a living out of it are Azziad Nasenya, David Moya and many others who have gained in one way or another.
