After the highly contested and controversial 2022 August ninth presidential contest, President William Samoei Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga turned out to be fierce enemies and critics in the political arena. The anti-government protests that rocked the country clearly depicted a high level of political differences between the duo as Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition officially and publicly failed to accept Ruto as the duly elected fifth President of the Republic of Kenya.

The duo have now seemingly burried hatchet and are seen to be gradually warming ti eacg other. The National Dialogue Committee report and the current push by President Ruto and his government for Raila’s election as the Chairman of African Union Commission have seemingly catapulted a simmering deal and cordial working partnership between the two.

Surprisingly enough, Kenyans woke up to a surprising news on Monday when President Ruto officially appointed Raila as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya, a seat that will soon be factored in into the law by both Housed of Parliament of Kenya.

Above aside, I would wish you an all enjoyable Easter Holiday and rest assured that above news is far from the truth and are merely meant to jog our minds on this fools day.
