Sammy previously declared the temporary shutdown of his fashion label Kioko Designs, claiming financial difficulties caused by an unpaid county order for KSh 19 million.
Tom Daktari, who has collaborated closely with Sammy on various comedy projects, expressed tremendous regret over the news, calling it the saddest thing he has seen today. His passionate reply moved many fans, and hundreds joined him in offering words of encouragement and prayers to the entertainer.
Sammy Kioko has also revealed that he has made multiple visits to Machakos County offices in an attempt to follow up on the payment, but the situation remains unsolved. The shutdown of Kioko Designs prompted an outpouring of sympathy from fans and fellow celebrities, who hailed him as hard-working and tough.
