Kenyan social media has been buzzing after Arbantone musician Tipsy Gee was recently spotted spending time with socialite Vera Sidika during a trip to Naivasha. Photos and videos circulating online show the two appearing comfortable in each other’s company, sparking widespread speculation among fans.

The pair were reportedly seen together during the famous Safari Rally Kenya weekend, which attracted thousands of visitors to Naivasha. In clips shared on social media, the two were seen riding in the same vehicle and enjoying the lively rally atmosphere.

Although neither Tipsy Gee nor Vera Sidika has publicly confirmed the nature of their relationship, observant fans quickly noticed that the two shared similar social media backgrounds shortly after the trip. According to posts circulating online, the matching details intensified speculation that the two might be spending more time together.

Behind the trending rumours is a young musician whose rise has been anything but ordinary. Tipsy Gee, whose real name is Kelvin Mugo, grew up in Nairobi’s Dagoretti and Kawangware neighbourhoods where he spent most of his early years before entering the music scene.

In a past interview shared online, the artist revealed that before music changed his life, he worked at construction sites. The job, popularly referred to as mjengo in Kenya, reportedly earned him about KSh 400 a day as he tried to make ends meet.

His education journey has also drawn attention from fans who admire his perseverance. Tipsy Gee scored 306 marks in his KCPE examinations and later earned a C grade in KCSE before pursuing a college course in Catering and Accommodation.

The artist has since become one of the recognizable faces of Arbantone, a fast-growing urban music style that blends Nairobi street slang with energetic Afro-urban beats. The genre has gained massive traction among Kenyan Gen Z audiences through platforms such as TikTok.

Tipsy Gee’s popularity has continued to grow thanks to viral music clips and collaborations with established Kenyan artists. His evolving sound now incorporates elements of Amapiano and Mugithi, helping him reach a wider audience across the country.

Standing at about 6 feet 3 inches tall, the musician has also built a reputation for remaining relatable to his fans despite his growing fame. Supporters often note his humble background and open personality as part of what makes him appealing.

As the speculation surrounding his connection with Vera Sidika continues to circulate online, many fans remain curious about whether the pair are simply friends or if a new celebrity romance could be unfolding. Regardless of the rumours, Tipsy Gee’s journey from construction worker to rising star has made him one of the most talked-about artists in Kenya’s entertainment scene today.
