Kenyan YouTuber and entrepreneur Robert Ndegwa Kamau, better known online as Thee Pluto, has publicly celebrated a new chapter in his personal life after officially marrying in a traditional ceremony—several months after his very public breakup with content creator Felicity Shiru.
On January 6, 2025, Thee Pluto took to his official Instagram page to post a heartfelt video from the wedding ceremony, paired with a reflective message about the importance of tradition, patience, and intentional love. According to his caption, the union was rooted not in haste but in honouring cultural and spiritual values, with elders and families playing key roles in the momentous occasion.
In his post, Thee Pluto described rũracio—a traditional marriage rite—as a “sacred agreement” that goes beyond a simple ceremony, emphasising that love is most deeply honoured when it is approached with respect for culture and heritage. He wrote that before two hearts joined, families came together, elders offered wisdom, and tradition was given its rightful place.
The content creator also shared how the ceremony symbolised more than just the union of two people; it represented the merging of prayers, histories, and generations, while highlighting the balance between cultural heritage and modern relationships.
This milestone follows Thee Pluto’s breakup with Felicity Shiru, which they announced publicly in September 2024 after being together for three years. At that time, both agreed to focus on co-parenting their daughter and asked the public to respect their privacy.
By honouring tradition in his wedding, Thee Pluto appears to be embracing a fresh start while demonstrating that love and commitment can be grounded in cultural values—even after heartbreak.
