Siaya county governor James Orengo has broken silence over the visit of Azimio and Orange Democratic Movement party leaders who held a meeting with the first in command William Ruto today morning. However governor Orengo has said that it was for personal reasons.

According to the information posted on his twitter account, Siaya county governor James Orengo stated that as orange democratic movement party members they disassociate themselves with the visit to statehouse in Nairobi by a group of ODM members of parliament today morning. He further said that the visit by MPs was personal and not sanctioned by any of the ODM party organs.

This comes after a section of ODM leaders from Nyanza region met with the first in command William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua at statehouse as they revealed that it was for development purposes, however the orange democratic movement party released a press statement through Hon Opiyo Wandayi as they claimed that they have been monitoring their movement thus not shocked at all.
