One of the victims who who almost fell for the Shakahola cult has just opened up about what she experienced some years ago. The young lady who is currently a clinical medicine student at Kenyatta University said she fears her mother could be a victim. She said that Mackenzi knew her mother very well and even convinced them to avoid what he called ” evil Babylonian system”.
He told her that education was earthly things that would deny them entry into kingdom of God. Because of this, her mother was ready to commit to Mackenzi and stop everything. The educated lady said the things Mackenzi told them didn’t make sense and she decided to run away from Shakahola. She was saved by Kaaga Girls principal who picked her and bought her everything to go to school.
She said that her mother even threatened to dump her if she refused to follow Mackenzi. This is how Kaaga parted from her family and went to school until she went to University. She is so distressed that her mother could be among the victims.
