On Friday morning reports came out that a Jambo Jet plane had encountered some technical problems and was unable to take off.
According to reports, the plane had already aligned on the runway with all the passengers ready for takeoff.
However, the engines failed to start and the people were forced to alight and engineers immediately deployed to check what the problem was.
It has now emerged that among the passengers in the plane was a renowned politician.
MP Caleb Amisi has confirmed that he was in the plane at the time of the incident.
Through his X page he said the plane had failed to take off and they were forced to disembark. From his post it could be seen that he was disappointed.
“Jambo jet failing at take off runaway .Very terrific. Forced to disembark!” Amisi said.
