Kenyan teacher and content creator Teacher Cillah has attracted fresh attention online after exposing a hurtful direct message she received following her public expression of interest in George Ruto, the son of President William Ruto.

The message reportedly mocked Cillah over clothes the sender claimed were worth KSh 1,500. The individual told her to stop wearing clothes of that value while also criticising the images she allegedly created using artificial intelligence.
The sender did not stop there, reportedly making hurtful remarks about Cillah’s smile and general appearance. The personal nature of the message appeared intended to embarrass the teacher after her highly publicised interest in George.
Instead of keeping the message private, Cillah shared it with her Instagram followers on Thursday, August 13. By exposing the DM, she allowed her audience to see the harsh comments and sparked another wave of reactions.
