A vocal city Lawyer and former president of the Law Society of Kenya has in another bold message fired at the Supreme court President and Chief Justice Hon. Martha Koome.
In a bold message through his official X page, the former LSK President has asked Chief Justice Martha Koome to take charge of Judges within the Judiciary, and ensure their proper conduct if she is to continue holding her office as head of the judicial arm of Government.
Havi’s bold message to the Chief Justice was in reaction to a recent ruling by the Court of Appeal between the National social Security fund board of trustees and the Kenya Tea Growers Association.
According to the former LSK President, the ruling by the Court of Appeal was on a wrong application which raises serious questions on the competence of these judges.
In his statement, the ruling by the Court of Appeal is a clear indication that Chief Justice Martha Koome has failed to handle the Judges very well. Havi has insisted that the only prudent thing to do by the Chief Justice is to resign, if he cannot effective run the Judiciary.
“Chief Justice Martha Koome must now take charge of her Judges or resign. How does a whole Court of Appeal deliver a decision on the wrong application.” Said the former LSK President.
