Mariam is one of the character who came to rescue Mzee Buya when he was attacked by Men who were send by Fatima.She took him to her house and took care of him but when the police came in search of her they escaped with Buya and he was taken to Bi Salama’s house.
Mariam then went back to her usually place and she went and remove a diamond ring which she had hide. The people who attacked mzee buya were there looking for her so that they can find out Where Buya is so that they can kill him.
Mariam was kidnapped by this two men and she was tied up in a certain house. These two men came and Mariam asked them who they were but they strangled her neck and one of them took out a gun and he wanted to shoot her. They asked her where Buya is and she did not say anything.
