The mother of the late Gengetone artist Stoopid Boy has finally broken her silence over claims circulating online that her son was sacrificed by content creator and comedian Oga Obinna.

Speaking emotionally during an interview on Sunday, the grieving mother dismissed the allegations making rounds on social media, insisting that her son died according to God’s will and not because of any cult-related activities or ritual sacrifice as alleged by some fans.

She said she was hurt by the wild rumours linking her son’s death to Illuminati and other cult practices, noting that such claims were baseless and only added pain to a family already in mourning.

“My son died by God’s will, not because of a cult. I have seen people saying he was sacrificed, but that is not true. Only God knows why He took him,” she said tearfully.

The mother also expressed deep gratitude to Oga Obinna, saying he was the only person who genuinely stood by and supported Stoopid Boy during his most difficult moments in life.

She revealed that when many people abandoned her son during his struggles with addiction and depression, Obinna stepped in to offer both financial and emotional support, including paying for rehabilitation and offering him accommodation.

According to her, Obinna treated Stoopid Boy like a younger brother and never exploited him as critics claim.

She urged Kenyans to stop spreading hate and conspiracy theories and instead remember her son for his music talent.

The family called for respect and privacy as they continue to mourn, saying they are focused on laying Stoopid Boy to rest in dignity.

Fans have continued to send condolences as investigations into his death continue.
