Kaviru started walking from Kitui county to Nairobi county in a bid to raise awareness on cancer. The young man caught the attention of Kenyans. Kasolo joined his fellow musician in Mlolongo, and he shared photos while in the wilderness to receive some rest.
“We joined Biez Kaviru from Mlolongo, walking toward the Office of the President. After covering 12 kilometers, we are now taking a short stop in the wilderness to receive first aid and some rest Wavinya Mwiitu wa Muthiani,” he wrote.
He congratulated Kaviru for walking from Kitui county noting that it was not an easy feat for anyone. “This journey has not been easy; four days of walking is no joke. Respect where it’s due. Congrats, Kaviru man. Your resilience speaks volumes. We regroup, we recover, and we continue with the journey,” he said.
Kasolo admitted that during the rest time, he got overwhelmed and noted that the walk, which he initially thought was easy, left him exhausted. “Naona mnafanya mzaha lakini nimelemewa. Naumwa na kila mahali. Imebidi niende hosi. Siko poa, mimi nilikuwa naona ni kitu simple kumbe ni kazi ngumu?”
