Kamba gospel singer Stephen Kasolo gave Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi an unexpected moment of entertainment after inviting him to the dance floor during a fundraiser in Yatta, Machakos County.
The lively moment happened on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the Kikesa DCC grounds in Ikombe Ward, where leaders, clergy and residents had gathered to raise funds for the construction of the Kikesa DCC Headquarters Prayer Centre Complex.
Kasolo took to the stage and entertained the crowd with several songs before performing his latest release, Wathi Wa Muvea. The singer then invited Sudi and the host of the event, Annastacia Muthini Muendo, to join him.
The two accepted the invitation and stepped onto the stage as Kasolo demonstrated different dance moves for them to follow. Sudi appeared to enjoy the moment as he attempted to match the singer’s moves while Kasolo continued with his performance.
The dance quickly attracted more people, with politicians, clergy members and other guests moving closer to the stage and joining in the celebration.
Kasolo was also accompanied by three dancers who added energy to the performance as they danced alongside him.
Sudi later shared a video of the moment on Facebook, praising Kasolo’s latest song and reflecting on the purpose of the gathering.
The MP said he attended the fundraiser together with Tiaty MP William Kamket, Commissioner Ben Muasya, NCIC Commissioner Jerusah Muathime, host Annastacia Muthini Muendo, Hon Eli Gor, local ward representatives, clergy and other congregants.
The fundraiser sought to support the construction of the Kikesa DCC Headquarters Prayer Centre Complex, which is expected to serve 10 churches.
Sudi said the project would provide a place for worship, prayer and fellowship while promoting unity and spiritual growth among the churches.
He concluded his message by quoting Psalm 127:1, saying the project carried an important religious significance for the community.
