The right Honorable Raila Amollo Odinga, has in recent past been on itinerary touring various African countries to campaign. Odinga who his eying to be the African Union chairman has received great support and resources from President William Ruto who is on the forefront to ensure the Azimio la Umoja Supremo clings to the seat.
Odinga who is the East African favorite for the seat, has been on tours to the West African countries to woo the various head of states in order to consolidate his support
Taking it today to his official social media platform, Odinga shared details of his converaation with Cote d’Ivoire presidents Alassane Ouattara. The two discussed matters affecting our continent, and shared ways of improving cohesion amongst the countries.
“His Excellency Alassane Ouattara hosted me in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. We discussed our shared concerns over our continent and the need to identify and prioritize transformational projects such as infrastructure, visa free movements, and intra-African trade, which can ensure sustainable development and prosperity for all African nations.
I took the opportunity to update the president on my campaigns in West Africa and seek his support for my bid to be elected Chairperson of the African Union Commission,” Wrote Odinga on his post.
