Speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Wetangula, on Friday, January 30, visited Moiben Constituency to pay his last respects to Mama Rosebella Jepkemboi Kosgei, fondly known as Tabarno, the mother-in-law of PS for Industrialisation, Dr. Juma Mukhwana.Mama Rosebella was widely admired in the community for her generosity and warm spirit.
Her home was known to be open to all, offering food and support to neighbours and visitors alike.
Many in Moiben remember her as a devoted farmer who cultivated millet, vegetables, and bananas, sharing the fruits of her labour freely with anyone in need.
Speaking during the visit, Speaker Wetangula described Mama Rosebella as a remarkable woman whose contributions went far beyond her family. “The community is undoubtedly poorer without her.
Her generosity and kindness touched many lives, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she helped,” he said.
Friends, relatives, and community members joined the Speaker in bidding farewell, reflecting on many ways Mama Rosebella had impacted their lives.Her dedication to her family and her neighbours, coupled with her open-hearted nature, left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
