Salma Mbuvi, the second-born daughter of former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko, has issued an update on how she is doing right now weeks after she left her matrimonial home, after being physically assaulted by her husband.
The mother of two has actually revealed that she has now evolved to become a new person, because she can no longer tolerate domestic violence like the way she did back then.
Salma Mbuvi made this clear in a post that she made on her Instagram stories today, where she shared a video of herself that she took at her home.
The sassy queen then accompanied it with a caption of her gushing over the transformation.
“It doesn’t matter what I tolerated earlier. Try me today” she said.
Salma Mbuvi seemingly directed the aforementioned message towards her estranged husband Eden, who had been assaulting her endlessly during the time that they used to live together.
This was actually disclosed by Mike Sonko in November 2025, when he took to his social media platforms and shared a video of him confronting Eden, because of how he had physically assaulted Salma.
In the viral video, Mike Sonko revealed that Eden was beating Salma endlessly to the extent that she even had dents on her body because of him.
After the confrontation however, it can be remembered that Mike Sonko decided to take Salma Mbuvi together with their two kids away from the toxic environment.
As we speak, they are still staying at his home.
