Meru content creator and crossdresser Supuu O Mioro has spoken out against claims that he is trying to imitate popular influencer Kelvin Kinuthia.
In a video posted on his TikTok page on Thursday, November 6, 2025, Supuu said he is tired of being unfairly judged for how he dresses and the type of content he creates.
“Hello everyone, I have come to address something. I know many of you tell me not to speak negatively, but this time I have to,” he said. “I cannot just sit and allow people to keep talking badly about me and acting bothered by my life.”
Supuu said he had stayed silent for a long time, but the constant hate after his latest video pushed him to respond.
The viral clip showed him wearing makeup, a dress, and a wig while advertising a local cosmetics shop.
He explained that the video was part of a paid advertisement, not just regular content.
“Why are people talking so much about the advert I did? That was a paid advertisement, not just normal content. Stop judging me for doing my job,” he said.
Supuu also shared that his close friend, musician Karimi wa Bruno, often advises him not to respond to negativity, but this time he felt it had gone too far.
“My friend Karimi wa Bruno has always told me not to focus on people who talk badly about me, but this time I had to respond,” he added.
He dismissed claims that he is copying Kinuthia, saying he has his own style and personality.
“Some of you are saying that I have transformed to look like a woman like Kelvin Kinuthia. Let me tell you clearly, I am myself, not anyone’s copy,” he said.
Supuu also explained how he got his nickname.
“My name is Supuu O Mioro, which means beauty. I didn’t give myself that name; I got it when I was in Gikurune Boys High School. I love it because it fits me. You can see that I’m beautiful, more beautiful than many of your women and wives,” he said with a smile.
The TikTok star made it clear that he will continue dressing the way he wants.
“People keep saying that I wear wigs and dresses. Yes, I do — and I will keep wearing them until Christ returns. I will even wear bras and crop tops if I want to. You will not bring me down,” he said firmly.
