Fans of athletics-crazed city of Champions in Eldoret,Lobo village to watch the 2nd Edition of Sirikwa Classic World Cross Country live which came to a close today at the Lobo Village.
The Double Olympic Champion 1500m Faith Kipyegon reignied supreme in the women’s 10km senior race, She’s was followed closely by her team mate, Commonwealth 3,000m SC champion Jackline Chepkoech, And Zenah Jemutai finished 3rd.

Kipyegon said that her fans made her win by encouraging her through out the race.
“The motivation from the fans,I was excited to give them this win and I thank God for this victory,” said Kipyegon.
Samuel Kibathi won the men’s 8km Under-20 race followed by Kelvin Kipro🥈 and Gedion Kipngetich🥉
The men’s 10km race was won by National champion Charles Lokir stamps his authority once again powering to his victory followed Josephat Kiprotich 🥈 and Dennis Kipngetich 🥉
