Pastor Victor Kanyari has come out strongly to silence critics amid heated debate over the custody of his children with the late gospel singer Betty Bayo. In a video that quickly went viral, Kanyari declared that he had shouldered full responsibility for his children, revealing that he had recently paid over KSh 500,000 for their school fees.
The statement comes in the wake of Betty Bayo’s tragic passing at Kenyatta National Hospital, where she had been receiving treatment for a serious illness.
Her death not only shocked the gospel and entertainment world but also reignited public scrutiny over who should now take care of her two children — Sky Victor and Danivictor.
In typical bold fashion, Kanyari didn’t hold back. “Mimi ndio nimesababisha,” he said, asserting that he has been the one taking care of the children’s major expenses even before Betty’s demise.
The pastor insisted that despite public perceptions, he has consistently supported his children and will continue doing so.
