Kenyan singer Brown Mauzo has addressed head-on the heated claims by socialite Vera Sidika, who accused him of being an unsupportive father.
The two, who share two children together, have been embroiled in a public war of words, keeping fans glued to their social media handles.
The drama escalated after Mauzo called out one of his baby mamas for allegedly drunk-calling him at night. Although he did not mention any names, netizens were quick to assume he was referring to Vera.
In response, Vera fired back, denying the claims and branding Mauzo a deadbeat dad. She further threatened to release “receipts” to expose him.
In a recent interview, Mauzo finally broke his silence, firmly denying the allegations. He insisted that he has always taken responsibility for his children and continues to provide for them regardless of the status of his relationships.
“It is not a must that she asks me for anything. I still do my part as a father. Even when relationships end, my love and duties to my children remain unchanged,” Mauzo said.
He also questioned why Vera reacted so strongly to his online remarks when her name had never been mentioned. Despite the tension, Mauzo praised her for granting him access to their children and stressed that co-parenting remains his priority.
The couple’s once glamorous relationship ended in August 2023, but their online spats show that their story is far from over.
