Edwin Sifuna

Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has sent a message to President William Ruto while proposing the venue for swearing-in of the New Government after the 2027 general elections.

He suggested that New Government should be sworn in at the Newly Constructed Talanta Stadium which has since been renamed to Raila Odinga International Stadium.

In that regard, Sifuna urged President Ruto to ensure he takes the Sword to Talanta Stadium as the Inauguration Ceremony will be conducted there. Sifuna made it clear that they will not go to Kasarani Stadium as it is close to Ruto’s Residence

“If William Ruto loses in 2027, let him bring the sword to Talanta Stadium. We want the swearing-in of the new government to take place in the new stadium. Let him bring the sword there; We will not go to Kasarani, as it is close to his residence.” Edwin Sifuna said.

The message by Edwin Sifuna comes months to the 2027 General Elections. The Nairobi Senator has been confident that President Ruto will lose in the elections. He has now proposed that the New Government should be sworn-in at Talanta Stadium and urged President Ruto to take the Sword to the Stadium so he can pass it to the next leader who will possibly be elected as the next President.
