Content creator Webston Kimani has opened up about his relationship with filmmaker and lecturer Zippy Okoth, saying their age difference has never been a problem for them.
Speaking in an interview, Kimani shared that Zippy is almost 10 years older than him, but he doesn’t see age as something that should define love.
“Zippy is older than me by about 10 years. But I don’t think that matters,” he said.
“What’s important is love, respect, and understanding.”
Kimani believes many people miss out on love because they care too much about what society thinks.
He says real happiness comes from choosing what’s right for your heart, not what others expect.
“People often do things to please society and forget their own happiness,” he said.
He added that he and Zippy never even talk about the age difference because it’s not an issue in their relationship.
“We’ve never discussed our age gap. It doesn’t affect how we relate. Our connection is strong,” he said.
Kimani had admired Zippy for years before reaching out. On her birthday in early 2025, he sent her a message, but she didn’t respond.
Later, he saw her Facebook post about wanting a partner who rides a motorbike—something Kimani is passionate about.
“She posted about wanting a boyfriend who rides a bike. I commented, shared it, and tagged her,” he said.
The post caught attention online. Zippy replied and later messaged him directly.
That moment sparked their relationship.
“She later DMed me, and that’s how our journey began,” he said.

Kimani said that their relationship is built on support, love, and peace. He doesn’t worry about age or outside opinions, as long as they understand each other.
“I’m not afraid of dating someone older. What matters is how we treat each other and how we feel,” he said.
Their story is a reminder that love doesn’t come with rules. For Kimani and Zippy, connection and commitment matter more than numbers.
