Lawyer Wahome Thuku has come out to allege that the Nakuru county governor Hon Susan Kihika has not given birth to any twins as reports were alleging on Tuesday.
He has said that it was a cover up story by the family and close relatives because she is very ill and in the intensive treatment in the US.
Wahome said that most of her relatives were also shocked when they were told that Kihika had delivered twins but had to play along when they learnt the truth.
Wahome has wished the governor a quick recovery.
“The Governor of Nakuru has not given birth. She was never pregnant. The story of pregnancy and delivery of twins in the USA was concocted by her close relatives because the governor is critically unwell and receiving intensive treatment in America. The relatives who were not part of the script were really shocked to hear she had given birth but were quickly silenced with the truth to keep up the narrative.
That’s the truth. We wish her the quickest recovery but recovery comes with acceptance.” Wahome said.
Kihika has been missing in action for five months and Kenyans have been asking where she was. There were reports that she was in the US to deliver.
On Tuesday when reports emerged that she had delivered twins there were mixed reactions from Kenyans as they wondered why she could not deliver in our hospitals.
