Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has recently spoken openly about her views on relationships, privacy, and financial independence. She announced that she has found a loving man but emphasized the importance of keeping relationships private rather than sharing everything online.
According to her, love is between two people, and if love needs to be shown off constantly on social media, it may not be genuine.
Senator Nyamu advises people to enjoy their relationships quietly and privately. She believes that having a lover and two close friends is enough, and there is no need to live together or display the relationship publicly. Her approach is about maintaining respect and privacy while still loving each other.
In addition to her views on relationships, Nyamu also opened up about how she and her partner, Samidoh, manage their children. She revealed that they communicate indirectly, often through her driver and other intermediaries, rather than having direct contact.
This arrangement helps them maintain peace and manage their family matters without conflict.
Senator Nyamu also addressed the topic of financial support for children. She stated clearly that she does not depend on the fathers of her children to provide financial support. Instead, she works hard to cover her own expenses and take care of her children independently.
During an interview on the AMTV podcast hosted by Alex Mwakideu, Nyamu advised women not to treat men as automated teller machines (ATMs) or to drag them to court for child support without considering the men’s financial situations. She pointed out that some men may also be struggling financially, and women should be understanding of this.
