Senator Methu, who was elected under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket in the 2022 General Elections, holds the distinction of being the youngest senator in Kenya’s 13th Parliament.His political journey has been marked by determination and resilience.
Before his victory, John Methu made his first attempt at the Nyandarua Senate seat in 2017 under the Maendeleo Chap Chap Party, though he did not succeed.
Undeterred, he continued serving in public office and later became the Personal Secretary to the Speaker at the Nyandarua County Assembly between 2018 and 2022.
Today, he stands as a rising political figure whose leadership continues to inspire many young Kenyans.
