A day after Uganda President Yoweri Museveni’s controversial Twitter statements about invading and capturing Nairobi in two weeks, Narok Senator Ledama Olekina has lashed out at Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
Through his Twitter page, the seemingly agitated Ledama said he is thinking of sending a few men to Uganda to pick Museveni’s son and bring him to Kenya.
According to the ODM senator, the president’s son should be brought to Kenya and detained at Mathare Mental Hospital for proper treatment after his controversial remarks about Kenya.
Already, Ugandan Government has distanced itself from Muhoozi’s sentiments, stating that the country’s army would capture Nairobi.
In a formal statement released on Tuesday afternoon, Uganda said the country does not conduct matters touching on foreign policy on social media platforms.
In a quick response to his Twitter tweets, President Yoweri Museveni has on Tuesday, promoted his son Muhoozi Kainerugaba to the rank of full General.
Upon receiving backlash, from Kenyans and Ugandans, Muhoozi said his tweets about capturing Nairobi were misconstrued, and that he was only joking on the micro-blogging site.
