Thursday, the 22nd of May, was indeed a special day for renowned Mugithi musician Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh.
This is because on the day, his estranged wife by the moniker of Edday Nderitu was turning a year older.
Even though the two are no longer as close as they used to be before, Samidoh still used the day to celebrate her birthday, and boy he did so in style.
Taking to his Facebook account, the ‘Mumbi’ hit maker infact penned a heartwarming message to his wife, in which he appreciated her for being an incredible mother to their kids.
Samidoh also appreciated Edday Nderitu for how she has always been committed to keeping their family together, despite the issues that they have had in the past.
He also wished her the very best with regards to this new chapter of her life as well as her future.
“Happy Birthday to an incredible woman and the amazing mother of our kids. Your strength, resilience, and commitment to our family never go unnoticed.
Grateful for the journey we’ve walked together and everything you hold down behind the scenes. Here’s to more years of growth, laughter and keeping things steady. Enjoy your day. Happy Birthday Edday Nderitu” Samidoh wrote.
It should be noted that Samidoh is celebrating Edday Nderitu at a time when she is currently living in the USA with their three kids.
The beautiful lady actually relocated to the USA some time in mid 2023, and she made this decision after being fed up with all the theatrics of Samidoh and his second baby mama Karen Nyamu.
At the time, Samidoh was in a relationship with Karen Nyamu. He actually wanted to be in a polygamous marriage but Edday Nderitu made it clear that she was not going to allow this.
Edday Nderitu therefore made the decision of relocating to the USA for her own peace of mind. She also wanted their kids to grow in a healthy environment away from all the toxicity.
