Following multiple complaints from Nairobi traders over harrassment from city officials, Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja has finally taken an action.

As relayed by a report covered on capital FM news, Sakaja has allegedly suspended a top inspectorate officials after increased number of complaints from traders.

Chief Officer Tony Kimani has been suspended by Sakaja and his position taken by Eva Wairiuko.

Speaking after taking over as chief Inspectorate official, Eva affirmed dignity therefore posing a win to traders who for a long have lived in fears over being intimidated by county council.

This comes daya after the officials manhandled a young boy hawking groundnut in the Nairobi streets.

Apparently, this is a huge relief to Nairobi traders as it enables their businesses to go on without more harrassment and intimidation.

On the other side, Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition’s leaders led by former prime minister Raila Odinga are expected to announce their position on the National dialogue committee.

This comes amid division in the coalition with Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua and DAP Kenya party leader Eugene Wamalwa allegedly opposed to thw the NADCO’s recommendations.
