Celebrated Kenyan singer and songwriter Nadia Mukami has laid her late beloved uncle by the moniker of Peter to rest.
The sassy ‘Ikamate Iyo’ hit maker revealed this in one of her latest posts on her Instagram stories, where she disclosed that he was buried on Friday.

Even though Nadia Mukami never disclosed where exactly her late uncle was buried, she shared a short video clip that showed how she was in a car dressed ni black attires for mourning.

The sassy singer also revealed that she was supposed to release her latest song dubbed ‘Mapenzi’ which is a collaboration between her and Jaysoul on Friday, bit she chose not to do it because it was a day of burying her late uncle.
Instead of Friday, Nadia Mukami therefore released the song on Saturday morning.
“Yesterday I had dedicated the day in honour of my uncle so couldn’t post the song on my page! We laid him to rest! Plus was up and down.
But i have a song with @jaysoul_highpitch Mapenzi out on YouTube…” Nadia Mukami wrote in part.
Nadia Mukami reveals she has lost her uncle
Nadia Mukami actually announced to her fans that she has lost her dear uncle on Wednesday night this week.
Taking to her Instagram account the mother of one shared the heartbreaking news, and disclosed that Peter actually passed on a week ago.
Even though she never disclosed more details with regards to what led to her his death, Nadia Mukami further revealed that the demised uncle was the brother to her father.
In the post, Nadia Mukami also asked her fans to keep her family in prayers.
“We lost uncle Peter last week! My dad’s brother. May his soul rest in perfect peace! May God grant out family peace during this difficult time. Keep praying for us” she wrote.
The Maombi hit maker also made another throwback post, reminiscing of the time that she spent with her late uncle when he was still alive.
