As the result continues to trickle in at Bomas, preliminary results shows that Ruto will control a huge percentage of the county of Nairobi in the next administration. This coming as some good news in case he wins the presidency which has been hotly contested.
The latest from the IEBC portal shows that Ruto will command close to half of the entire assembly. This means that out of the close to 70 MCAs Ruto’s UDA has managed 35 as Raila’s Azimio la Umoja has managed close to 32 without counting the independent candidates who won the different seats.
This clearly showing that at the moment his team has a huge following and will be easy for the next governor Sakaja to run the affairs of the county and implement the necessary action needed for an effective city. Ruto now awaits the final verdict from the IEBC to know who the next president is.
