Orange Democratic Party allied Member of Parliament Caleb Amisi is now calling for the resignation of President William Ruto, alleging why Ruto inviting the GenZ to State House won’t solve the ongoing anti-goverment protests.
In a message he shared on social media platforms, the Saboti Member of Parliament gave reasons why calling young people to State House won’t solve the issue.
According to the MP, who is a well known ally to ODM leader Raila Odinga, it is true that the protests are led by the GenZ who Ruto invited to State House for discussion over the protests.
However, the MP claimed that all the other generations including the Gen Alpha, Millenial and the GenX are also actively involved in the ongoing protests an hence the reason why a meeting between President William Ruto and the young Kenyans won’t solve the issue at hand.
“Calling young people to statehouse won’t solve the issue. The protest is led by GenZ but all Gen Alpha ,Millenial and GenX are protesting,” MP Caleb Amisi claimed, adding that the President Must just resign.
