Tanzanian gospel singer Rose Muhando has once again found herself at the centre of heated discussion after a Kenyan pastor claimed she was secretly married in Luhya land. The pastor even went as far as warning men to stop pursuing her, insisting she was no longer available a claim that quickly spread online and sparked intense speculation.

Days after firmly denying that she was married, Rose has now come out to clarify what she truly wants, a move that has left fans and critics sharply divided. While she maintained that she is not married, the gospel star explained that she is currently focused on her spiritual journey, personal growth, and ministry rather than rushing into marriage.

According to Rose, not every relationship must end in marriage, and not every season of life is about settling down. She emphasized that she prefers peace, respect, and understanding in her personal life, adding that she will only consider marriage if it aligns with God’s timing and her own readiness.

Her remarks, however, have fueled fresh debate online. Some netizens applauded her honesty, saying women should not be pressured into marriage simply because of age, fame, or public expectation. Others questioned her stance, wondering whether she is avoiding marriage altogether or simply being overly cautious due to past experiences.

“Kwani anaogopa kwa kina ndoa?” one social media user asked, echoing the sentiments of many who remain puzzled by her position. Supporters rushed to her defense, arguing that marriage is a personal choice and not a public obligation. They also criticized the pastor for making what they called intrusive and unverified claims about her private life.

As the conversation continues to trend, one thing is clear Rose Muhando is determined to define her life on her own terms marriage or no marriage regardless of public pressure or rumours.
