Benson Ogweno Ouma, also known as DJ Lastborn, a prominent reggae DJ has passed away at the age of 43 years.

Lillian Anyango, Lastborn’s sister, claims that he passed away in his sleep on March 3, 2023.
She related how the veteran DJ was in a good mood and conversed with her on a Thursday night before he asked to go to bed.
“I was with him on Thursday, and we talked about so many things. He seemed so energetic, and after having dinner, he requested us to take him to bed. Ever since he suffered a stroke in 2017, I have been taking care of him, and there had been tremendous improvement,” she said.
DJ Lastborn has been sick for a long time now due to two strokes. Speaking and seeing were both compromised by the second stroke he suffered in 2019.
