21-year-old Angeline Wangui told her elder sister that she had been invited to her friend’s night party and promised to return the next morning.Her body was discovered the following day dumped in a sack along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
Her sister said the deceased was constantly communicating with someone on the phone who was asking her why she was delaying.
Wangui’s father said she had so much hope in life and hoped to join KMTC in April 2023.Wangui’s father: “Losing a child mysteriously is very painful. I shall miss her.”
A postmortem conducted on Wangui’s remains indicated she succumbed to suffocation and had been sexually assaulted.
